Financial Services Authority (FSA) - Retail Distribution Review

From 1st January 2013, the world of Financial Advice will be changing following the FSA's Retail Distribution Review. This review will make all advisers work differently to the 'Large Commission' format historically, becoming Fee Based instead. Qualifications will also need to be higher for all Advisers wishing to be classed as Independent. Early indications show that up to one third of all Advisers will leave the industry at this time, thus leaving many clients without an Adviser, having paid significant commissions for their services.
